About our felt finger puppets
What are Little Boga finger puppets made of?
Each puppet is cut and sewn from two layers of soft, colour-fast polyester felt and finished with machine embroidery, so the faces stay crisp after years of play. There are no glued or loose parts: eyes and details are stitched. Every puppet measures about 8 × 4 cm and fits children's fingers as well as adult ones. All sets are designed and handmade in our studio in Berlin.
Which age are they for?
We recommend our puppets for children aged 3 and up. They are not suitable for children under 36 months because of small parts (choking hazard); younger children may play with them only under direct adult supervision. Kindergarten teachers and speech therapists use them with children of all ages in guided play.
Why are finger puppets good for children?
They train fine motor skills (each finger moves on its own), encourage children to speak, tell stories and take on roles, help them name and express feelings, and turn learning into play: animals and their habitats, professions, seasons, fairy tales. Because only a finger is covered, even shy children happily let a puppet "speak" for them.
Are they used in speech therapy and kindergartens?
Yes. Our sets are used by speech therapists for articulation and storytelling exercises and in kindergartens for circle time, language development and role play. If you order for an institution or practice, write to us: we issue invoices and offer volume prices.
Can I wash the puppets?
Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild soap or shampoo, wash separately, press out the water in a towel and let them dry flat. Do not tumble dry or iron.
Can I choose my own animals or get a personalised set?
Yes. With our make-your-own set you pick any animals from more than 50 designs; sets of 10 or more come in a cotton pouch. For personalised sets or custom characters, send us a message.
Ordering and payment
Do I need an account?
No. You can check out as a guest; an account only makes reordering and order tracking easier.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna and local methods such as Bancontact, EPS, BLIK, MobilePay and Wero. All payments are processed securely by Shopify.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Germany: €4, free from €20. Netherlands, Belgium and Austria: €6. France: €10. Other EU countries: €8. Orders over €60 ship free within the EU. We currently ship within Germany and the EU only.
How long does delivery take?
We usually dispatch within 1–3 working days. Delivery within Germany takes about 2–4 working days, within the EU 5–10 working days depending on the country. You receive a tracking number by e-mail as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Returns
What is your return policy?
You can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. Write to us first at candan@bogadesign.de and we will send you the return details. Refunds are issued within 7–10 working days after we receive the parcel. Personalised sets are excluded from returns.
