Our felt finger puppets are made for hands that use them every day: in circle time, in the reading corner and in language groups. Each set comes in a cotton pouch, so a set of eight is back on the shelf in a minute.

Circle time and language development: a puppet greets each child by name, asks a question and waits for an answer. Children who rarely speak in the group will talk to a fox or a rabbit. Prepositions, plurals and colours are easy to practise with animals that hide, appear and line up.

Project weeks: farm, forest, sea, professions, dinosaurs, pirates and seasons – there is a set for each topic, so the puppets match the books, songs and crafts of the week.

Story-telling: the fairy-tale set has nine characters for the classics; the make-your-own set lets a class design its own animals.

Practical: two layers of felt, machine-embroidered, no loose parts, hand-washable. Age 3+. Every set is labelled in line with CE requirements and carries our manufacturer address.
